LEARN BY HEART. Elizabeth runs clubs for children to help them learn more easily. These half hour sessions encourage self esteem and confidence in the child whilst they also participate in exercises to coordinate left and right brain function. Children learn best when they are happy and relaxed and with their senses fully switched on. Using Progressive Kinesiology techniques, massage, specific exercises and affirmations these classes help your child understand the skills they need for learning. Teachers and parents have provided very positive feedback that even after the first session they have noticed improvements in the child's ability to concentrate, behave more sensibly and that the children have been bursting with ideas and excitement about learning again! If you would like Elizabeth to run a club in your school on the Sunshine Coast please contact her to discuss availability. The programme is currently running at Peregian Springs State School on Tuesday mornings and Wednesdays after school. Elizabeth is also able to offer one to one private sessions if your child is experiencing learning difficulties.
Teachers and Parents Workshop Elizabeth also offers a one day course for parents or teachers who wish to learn techniques for helping children with learning difficulities or for adults who would like support for their own learning difficulities. I studied Psychology and Education at Warwick University and have had employment at childcare centres developing clubs for children to enhance their learning. Progressive Kinesiology helps to indentify any blocks to learning which could be nutritional, emotional or physical. Learning takes place when you are relaxed and happy so techniques to help this will be explained. Also the right and left brain hemispheres need to be integrated to help learning so we will be looking at exercises that can be performed in the classroom or at home. Diet and supplements will be explored with the latest research into brain development. Dates: Please contact me if you are interested in this course.
